 Project opportunity identified – Common problems from the old people are :

    • First person : Mrs. Tani Bhi Age – 63years
      Problem faced – Cannot walk with food plates.
    • Second person : Mrs. Ramanamma Age – 72 years
      Problem faced – Cannot take medicine which are away from bed.
    • Third person – Mr. Narayana Age – 68 years
      Problem faced – He unable to talk but we observed that he facing problem to wake up from bed.
    • Fourth person – Mrs. Sarojana Age – 50 years
      Problem faced – Cannot carry food plates.
    • Fifth person – Mr. Mohan Rao Age – 68 years
      Problem faced – Unable to wake up from bed.
    • Sixth person – Mrs. Sarala Devi Age – 70 years
      Problem faced – Cannot wake up from bed due to body pains.
    • Seventh person – Mrs. Amina Bhai Age – 80 years
      Problem faced – Walking with stick and taking their food plates is very difficult.

    Carry their food plates to the bed.
    There is a dustbin near their bed but it has noo cap to close.
    They are unable to bend and take their items which are below the bed.

Assistance to wake up from bed.
Assistance to carry their food items.
Assistance to keep their items near to them.
Constraints/ Challenges:
There are mentally retarded people but unable to talk with thatpeople.
Unable to talk with paralysed people.

Need prioritization :
Primary : They need a Device to wake up from bed.
Secondary : They need a track or box to put their items.
Territory : They need a ventilation.

Need statement :
Old people are facing problem while waking from bed by themselves. It is necessary to provide mechanism.,so that they can wake up without expecting others
